Default pivot position

Changing the default position from which a tooth pivots around

The pivot position of a tooth is the point at which the tooth rotates around when moving that tooth.

Changing the pivot positions switches the default pivot point of all teeth. Using the dropdown menu, you can select the Center (of the crown), Tip (incisal edge), or Root (center of resistance). You are still able to select a different pivot position when moving teeth.

You can further adjust the pivot position by changing the position of the movement widget. Selecting a tooth and clicking Change Frame allows you to reposition the movement widget to change the pivot position. When changing the frame, the tooth does not move. When finished changing the frame, click Done.
