Refinements allow you to adjust your patient's treatment plan partway through treatment.

How to submit for refinement

1: You can create refinement with discount when an alignment order move to Ready for Review.

2: To start, click + New Refinement. The refinement button will be displayed when the patient already has a alignment order. You can also click + New Order as an equivalent alternative.

3: Upload scans

• Both upper and lower refinement scans are required.

4: Select an order type.

• You can choose to submit to ArchForm for refinement by orthodontists or technicians or you can handle the refinement yourself.
• The last Alignment order you placed is selected by default. Click to expand the list and see all your alignment orders.

5: Upload photos & X-rays

• If you choose to submit to ArchForm for refinement, photos are required.

6: Complete the prescription.

• Click photos/X-rays to preview while filling prescriptions. Use the toolbar below to adjust and save images.

  

7: Click Submit to place an order.

Some possible problems

For the patients migrated from Dashboard v1, how to create a refinement in Dashboard v2?

• To create refinements for patients migrated from Dashboard v1, click + New Order at the top of the patient page.
• Since the patient was migrated from Dashboard v1, the first alignment order for this patient will not display the refinement label.
