Refinements allow you to adjust your patient's treatment plan partway through treatment.

How to create refinement

1. To create refinement, click + Refinement.

   <aside> 💡

   Pleas make sure current edits have been uploaded to the Dashboard before creating refinement. Skipping upload will discard those after creating refinement.

   </aside>

In the Create Refinement popup window,

1. Upload both upper and lower refinement scans.

2. Click Create Refinement.

   

3. When refinement is created, start scan processing for this refinement by clicking OK in the popup window to download and open the scan files.

   

How to create refinements in Dashboard

1: You can create refinement with discount when an alignment order move to Ready for Review.

2: To start, click + New Refinement. The refinement button will be displayed when the patient already has a alignment order. You can also click + New Order as an equivalent alternative.

3: Upload scans

• Both upper and lower refinement scans are required.

4: Select an order type.

• You can choose to submit to ArchForm for refinement by orthodontists or technicians or you can handle the refinement yourself.
• The last Alignment order you placed is selected by default. Click to expand the list and see all your alignment orders.

5: Upload photos & X-rays

• If you choose to submit to ArchForm for refinement, photos are required.

6: Complete the prescription.
