Refinements allow you to adjust your patient's treatment plan partway through treatment.

How to create refinement

To create refinement, click + Refinement.

When there is existing alignment order for this patient, it needs to be archived as only one al

Upload current setup before proceeding creating refinements. The unsaved setup will be lost.

In the Create Refinement popup window,

1. Upload both upper and lower refinement scans, and complete the prescription in the Create Refinement popup window.
2. Click the close button to cancel the creation of refinement.
3. After finishing creating, click OK in the popup window to download and open the scan files to start scan processing for this refinement.

How to download and open scan files for refinement

The scan files will be download and opened in Desktop App after creating refinement.

if download failed, scan files for refinement can be opened from Dashboard.

1. Go to the patient detail page on Dashboard.

2. Click Open in Desktop App in the 3D Models in the alignment order. The scan files should be downloaded and opened in Desktop App.
