Tooth movements can be edited on goals. Edits made to a goal only apply to that specific goal and do not automatically update subsequent goals. Goals allow for sequential movements. By adding goals, you create movements that go from A to B to C. Stages are automatically calculated by our software based on the tooth movements on adjacent goals.

By default, treatment plans only have an initial goal and a final goal, meaning the teeth move directly from their initial position to the final position. Using additional goals allow for teeth to follow the desired waypoints.

Goals can be added anywhere along the treatment timeline at any point during treatment planning. To add a goal, move your stage selector to highlight the stage where you want your goal to be added, then right click Insert Upper & Lower Goals. If a stage is selected, a goal will be added with identical tooth movement. If you add a goal on top of another goal, you will simply duplicate the original goal.

To delete a goal, right click on the bar (red section) of a goal and then click Delete Goal. You can reset all teeth movements by clicking Clear Movements from the right-click menu on the final goal. If there are goals added in middle stages, you need to delete them first.
