Cloud storage allows you to access your ArchForm patients from any device. Uploading a patient from the treatment planning software saves the patient to the dashboard and enables you to continue treatment planning from any other computer with the treatment planning software.
A patient created in the treatment planning software is stored locally automatically. They have an Unversioned or Modified ****tag in the Version button. If you make any changes to a patient after saving it to the cloud, the word Modified appears in the Versions button, indicating that changes are present only locally, and the patient should be uploaded again to update the cloud version.

Patients can be uploaded to the cloud via a desktop app or directly from the dashboard.
Upload from the desktop app
To upload the patient to the cloud from the desktop app, you can click Upload in the ‘Versions’ list in the treatment planning or the patient list. You can choose which order that the setup should be uploaded into. Once the setup is uploaded, you can find it on the patient page on the dashboard.

To upload setup via dashboard, please save the case file into local first. You can click Save Patient in the patient list then go to the patient page on the dashboard.
In dashboard v2, you can click Upload Setup from the dropdown menu of an alignment order to upload the case file.

In dashboard v1, you can click Upload under Setup Versions at the Files tab to upload the case file.

When there are scan files or setups uploaded on the dashboard, you can open a patient directly from the desktop app or open it from the dashboard.

When a patient has setups uploaded on the dashboard, you can click Open behind a setup version in the Versions list. You can either click Download in the patient list. From the pop-up window, use the dropdown menu to select which revision to download. Once selected, click the Download button in the window.

When a patient has scan or setup files uploaded on the dashboard, you can click Open in Desktop App on the dashboard to open it in the desktop app.
