How to create a patient with CBCT data

To start, click on the top bar where the current patient's name is displayed. If you're using the software for the first time, it says "Sample Patient".

In the patient list, click + New Patients**.** This brings up the create patient page.

1. Type in the patient's first name and last name in the field of First name and Last name.
2. Choose Create Patient with CBCT Data in the dropdown menu and browse scan files* and DCM ******files.
3. Click Create Patient. The 3D dental model* for treatment planning is processed automatically.

** Note*: When exporting the scans from your scanner, select the option listed as Separate Files in Occlusion or similar, so that the scans will come in occlusion.

** Note:* There is a fee for CBCT segmentation.

Viewing CBCT data in treatment planning

After a CBCT patient is created, the CBCT data is visible in treatment planning. The visibility of CBCT data can be managed in the CBCT sub panel in the Layers panel and the opacity slider.
