The bite shift tool can be used to correct the register of the occlusion when the occlusion is off.

Also, it can be used to shift the mandible forward, backward, or alter the occlusion plane in cases where you are planning an orthognathic surgery or a "Herbst Type" mandible protractor appliance. The tool is a virtual simulator where you can move the entire mandible on the three planes of space.

How to add bite shift

1. Click Bite Shift on the Tools panel.
2. Use the gizmo to move the lower arch. Click Reset to reset bite shift if needed.
3. When finish the bite shift setup, click Done.
