ArchForm Alignment/Refinement

If you are submitting a patient for alignment/refinement by an ArchForm technician or orthodontist, the order gets moved through the first three steps by ArchForm.

  1. When you submit an alignment/refinement order, it starts in Unprocessed.

Baseline Data refers to the patient’s initial oral model files, which can be either scan files or .archform files. Baseline Data is required for the order creation.

  2. Once ArchForm begins working on the order, we move it into In Design.

  3. When the treatment plan is ready for your approval, we move it into Review and send you an email. You can review the treatment plan in the Web Viewer/Web Editor/Desktop App by clicking View Setup.

  4. If you are ready to approve the treatment plan, click Accept.

  5. If you would like changes made to the treatment plan, click Need Changes, write in your requests, and click Save. The order automatically moves back to In Design, where the orthodontist or technician makes the changes and notifies you when it is ready for review.

  6. When the order is suspended for some reason, we will move it into On Hold and inform you through email.

  7. When the order should be removed for some reason, it could be Archived.

Self Alignment/Refinement

If you are submitting a patient for self alignment, you can manage the order by yourself.

Once you have submitted the alignment order, click Open in Desktop App in the order detail*.* The treatment planning software will open and load the Baseline Data that you just uploaded. You can proceed with the treatment plan as normal.
