ArchForm Alignment/Refinement
If you are submitting a patient for alignment/refinement by an ArchForm technician or orthodontist, the order gets moved through the first three steps by ArchForm.
- When you submit an alignment/refinement order, it starts in Submitted.
- Once ArchForm begins working on the order, we move it into Planning.
- When the treatment plan is ready for your approval, we move it into Ready for Review and send you an email. You can review the treatment plan by clicking Open in Web Editor, Open in Web Viewer, or Open in Desktop App.
- If you are ready to approve the treatment plan, click Accept Setup.
- If you would like changes made to the treatment plan, click Need Changes, write in your requests, and click Save. The order automatically moves back to Planning, where the orthodontist or technician makes the changes and notifies you when it is ready for review.
- When the order is suspended for some reason, we will move it into On Hold and inform you through email.
- When the order should be removed for some reason, it could be Archived.
Self Alignment/Refinement
If you are submitting a patient for Self Alignment, the order gets moved through the workflow is entirely up to you.
Once you have submitted the alignment order, click Open in Desktop App. The treatment planning software will open and load the scans that you just uploaded. You can proceed with the treatment plan as normal.
Below is an example of how you can organize your workflow.
- When you submit an alignment order, it starts in Submitted.
- The order is currently getting designed in the treatment planning software.
- You can review the treatment plan by clicking Open in Web Editor, Open in Web Viewer, or Open in Desktop App.
- You can approve the treatment plan by clicking Accept Setup.
- When the order is suspended for some reason, you could change it to On Hold.
- When the order should be removed for some reason, you could Archived the order.
