On this page we will tell you how to get started and properly use your new ArchMill machine.

You Will Need
- Network connection (Wi-Fi or wired) for your ArchMill to access trim paths from the cloud
- The latest ArchForm Software with AlignerMaker
- The ability to produce thermoformed models
- 3D printer with washing and curing accessories
- Thermoforming machine
Setting Up Your ArchMill
- Remove your ArchMill from its packaging and place onto a flat surface.
- Remove all protective adhesive, then swing open the hinged protective lid to remove the additional packaging from inside the cavity.
- Swing the hinged protective lid closed.
- Remove the 10 thumb screws from the back panel of the ArchMill.
- Swing the flat panel counter clockwise, while taking note of the cables in the lower-left,
- Locate the 4mm hex key within your tool kit.
- There are four shipping bolts installed in the ArchMill in order to lock the axes in position and prevent damage to the machine during shipment. Please use the 4mm hex key to remove the bolts.
- These bolts must be removed before the machine may be used.
- Do NOT remove any other bolts as this could cause damage to the machine.
- Feel free to for additional assistance during this step.
- Replace the 4mm hex key into the tool kit and insert the 10 thumb screws to secure the back panel into place.
- Plug the power cable into the inlet on the back of the ArchMill and the opposite end into any 110v-220v receptacle.
- Switch the ArchMill on from the switch on the back, next to the power inlet, and wait for the machine to boot.
- Connect to your network in one of two ways:
- If you will be using wired networking to connect to the internet, you may connect an ethernet cable to the back of the ArchMill.
- If you will be connecting using WiFi, you may press the Gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the interface to reach the network settings. Choose your network by pressing on the dropdown, enter your network password, and press connect.
If this cable does not natively fit into your power receptacle, you should not need any specialized converters aside from a simple plug adapter.
Booting takes roughly 6 minutes before the entirety of the software is loaded
